The first EP from the mind of Silent Andrew, a sci-fi time travel adventure.
ch.1
Date: Unknown, around the 2080s
It feels like a lifetime has passed, only god knows how long I’ve been stuck there...
I assume you’ve probably already accepted the fact that I am dead - in one way or another - and moved away,
But even in the off-chance that you didn’t and I managed to find you, would you even recognize me anymore?
After all, I’m not the same man as before, time has had it’s affect...literally
I guess curiosity killed the cat, as they say, and before I knew it, I ended up here, in the wreckage of my own creation, regretting the time that we lost and could never get back
why did things occur the way they did?
If only I had a time machi- oh wait, forgot that it's broken…
ch.2
Date: October 1st ,2072
It’s been a few years since I started to work in the SFTTA institute, I’m still considered relatively new in the lab, but it seems I’ve impressed Jared enough for him to appoint me the lead researcher in the TEMPORAL experiment, which is incredible,
because if this experiment succeeds we would officially cross the line into sci-fi territory.
I’m talking, of course, about TIME TRAVEL.
we’re a few months into the Proof-Of-Concept phase, and the team hasn’t made any significant progress (understandable given the complexity of this experiment).
Without even noticing it, I’ve found myself working long hours, which really pisses Winter(my wife) off, today is another of these days
ch. 3
Date: October 1st ,2072
8:24 pm already, haven't checked the clock in a long time...
The lunch brake conversation spurred a crazy idea in my mind, I had to check it before It got away.
For 6 straight hours my mind was racing, and so were my fingers, achieving a trance-like sensation, pouring my thoughts seamlessly into the keyboard.
They say the first test never succeeds, because you never know what you don't know and the first test usually reflects that, but this time it was about to be different
a short hour passed, and I found myself staring at the results, not believing my eyes
"Did it just...actually work?"
ch. 4
Date: October 1st ,2072
Winter hasn't heard from me in a while, I should call her, I'll tell her the great news and she'll probably forgive me.
The phone rang, but she didn't pick up...maybe my reception here is not as good? can't believe we still haven't figured out a way to solve all the problems with telecommunications even though we're nearing the end of the 21st century...
well, I guess no point dwelling on it. after all - she's already used to the fact I get home late recently (doesn't mean she's not angry about it, though)
...let's do 1 more test and call it a day, I'm too excited to not try ~THIS~ out...
ch. 5
Date: October 1st ,2072
As the first test went incredibly well, I HAD to to go and look at it with my own eyes.
Generally with those kinds of projects it's highly unadvised to do such a thing, so all I'm able to see during my tests is what the cameras capture. But let's face it - if you were on the brink of inventing TIME TRAVEL, wouldn't you be as excited to see the results with your own eyes?
I entered the room with the large machine, but it wasn't the thing I noticed first.
The test object was gone, although I saw it clearly on camera, something's strange...
Suddenly, a loud siren is heard, the machine starts to boot, and I'm in the worst place to be
I find myself engulfed in light, and I quickly understand, it's no longer October 1st 2072
ch. 6

A Cassette tape, constantly rewinded to replay the same song full of vibrant colors, like a kid listening to its favorite song, so much so that the cassette is worn down and the song loses its meaning. only blurred colors remain
A metaphysical Groundhog Day, if you will, has dawned itself over me.
At first I was like a scared passenger on board the Millennium Falcon going the warp speed, it took a lot of 'time' - or shall I say iterations - to get used to this state of being
At a certain point I even started to enjoy the peculiar state I was in
But now...I'm long past that
ch. 7
Date: ??? ,Iteration 137,543
I have to figure out a way to get out of here.
this may turn out to be a very tricky mission as I'm not exactly sure I have any material body in this state. Think, there must be a way out, observe - is there anything weird (well, more than the "usual" time warp situation) maybe th-
Iteration 137,544
A white diamond. for a fraction of a "second" I saw it, if it's not your typical 'light at the end of the tunnel' I don't know what is. the start and end points - this is where it's the weakest, of course!
Over the next iterations, I concentrated on 'pushing' at those moments
